getting into the flow: balance & focus – Week 2

It has been another week of daily (!!!) Yoga Practice. I took the time to practice in the morning a few times. But up to now, practicing after work was when I could most feel the positive effects. As I mentioned last week, I always felt very refreshed afterwards, almost as if the day started anew. It felt like shedding the work-skin and slipping into a completely different one.

All in all, I start to understand the psychology, rhythm and flow of energy of certain poses. The practice gets deeper. At the moment, I focus most on balancing the two sides of my body – concerning stretching, alignment of the joints, focus of attention etc. I think my concentration got better. Although I still catch myself thinking I’m going to grow fat and ugly because I don’t sweat enough :)
